A temporary (or disposable) email address is a short-term mailbox that allows you to receive verification emails, OTP codes, and downloads without exposing your real personal email address to marketing spam or data breaches.

◆ How long does a temporary email address last?

Guest and free boxes last 30 minutes, then mail is deleted. Premium can pick 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour, and keeps a restore key for 3 days.

◆ Which domain do addresses use?

New mailboxes are @mailsbyte.online. We still accept @temp.mailsbyte.me. Receive-only. We do not issue Gmail or Outlook addresses.

◆ Are my received emails kept private & secure?

Mail is stored only until the box expires. If you sign in we keep your account, plan, and API keys. Free pages may show Google AdSense. Scans you start send the URL or file hash to VirusTotal. Full detail is on the Privacy page.

◆ How does the Pay-As-You-Go Developer API work?

Sign in, open Account → Developer, and create an mb_live_ key. Use Authorization: Bearer on /api. New accounts get a small starter credit grant. Paid credit packs are listed but not billed yet.
